Sailboats are as
interesting to paint as they are to sail or just to watch. Their
constantly shifting interaction with the wind and the waves offer an
endless variety shapes and colors. The horizontal, stable
hull of the boat contrasting with the vertical, fluid motion of the
sails makes a very interesting composition. Combine that with the
shifting play of light on the almost cloud like sails and sailboat
painting becomes almost as fun as sailing them.
Painting Lake Michigan
also affords me a beautiful array of clouds, atmosphere and ,of coarse,
sunsets.
Doing a custom sailboat
painting of your boat adds a challenge I enjoy.
